How to Activate cPanel License via Terminal

To activate your cPanel license, please follow the steps below:

  1. Purchase a cPanel license directly from the cPanel Store or through your hosting provider.
  2. Log in to your server using SSH.
  3. Run the following command: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
    Wait for the process to complete.

If everything is okay with your license, you should see a similar output:

/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
Updating cPanel license...Done. Update succeeded.
Building global cache for cPanel...Done

Congratulations! Your license is now activated and will remain active until its due date.

You can also verify your license by visiting the following page: https://verify.cpanel.net/app/verify. Simply enter your IP address to confirm the license status.

Please note that this process requires a valid and purchased cPanel license.
